Partnerships
The Burdekin Junior
Eisteddfod gives volunteers within the community a chance to work with the
committee in creating an event that will allow the youth of North Queensland
to showcase their talents and capabilities on stage.
Along with this the
Eisteddfod also seeks sponsorship from businesses, individuals, and
organisations who also believe that the youth of North Queensland should
have the opportunity to develop their skills, self-esteem and state
experience.
This sponsorship
does not go unrecognised by the community or the committee, sponsors are
acknowledged in the local newspapers, the official program and also the
eisteddfod website.
Each year schools,
teachers and parents from North Queensland play a vital role in preparing
each and every competitor for competition and the eisteddfod sees hundreds
of competitors and parents pass through its doors and support its sponsors.
Committee members
liase directly with sponsers, parents, teachers and competitors with the
hope of each year providing a more beneficial eisteddfod than the last, for
all involved.
